Documents from the Sponsor (Son/Daughter):

Sponsor’s Original Emirates ID

Sponsor’s Emirates ID Copy, Residence Visa Copy & Passport Copy

Tenancy Contract / Ejari / Title Deed: Proof of residence for a 2-Bedroom & Hall unit or larger.

Sponsor’s Bank Statement for the Last 03 Months: Demonstrating sufficient financial capacity.

Sponsor’s Proof of Income/Profession (Choose ONE applicable option):

If Sponsor is an Investor/Partner:

Valid Trade License copy

Memorandum of Association (MOA) copy

Establishment Card copy

If Sponsor is Employed in the Private Sector:

Labour Contract with Ministry Stamp

(Note: Minimum monthly salary required is AED 10,000 or above)

If Sponsor is Employed in a Free Zone:

Arabic Salary Certificate issued by the Free Zone Authority

(Note: Minimum monthly salary required is AED 10,000 or above)

If Sponsor is Employed in Govt./Semi-Govt. Sector:

Arabic Salary Certificate issued by the Employer

(Note: Minimum monthly salary required is AED 10,000 or above)

Documents from the Applicant (Parent/Parent-in-Law):

Applicant’s Passport Copy: Passport should be valid for at least 6 months.

Applicant’s One Digital Photo: A recent, professional digital photo from a studio.

Proof of Relationship (Crucial for Parent Sponsorship):

For Sponsoring Your Own Parent(s):

Attested Birth Certificate of Sponsor: Your birth certificate, attested by the UAE Ministry of Foreign Affairs (MOFA) and officially translated into Arabic.

For Sponsoring Your Parent(s)-in-Law:

Attested Birth Certificate of Spouse: Your spouse’s birth certificate, attested by UAE MOFA & translated into Arabic.

Attested Marriage Certificate of Sponsor: Your marriage certificate, attested by UAE MOFA & translated into Arabic.

Consanguinity Letter / Sponsorship Letter: An official letter from the sponsor’s consulate or embassy in the UAE, confirming the relationship and sponsorship, attested by UAE MOFA and translated into Arabic.

Important Conditions & Fees:

Security Deposit: A refundable AED 5000 security deposit is required for each parent being sponsored.

Sponsorship File Fee: An additional fee of AED 253.15 will be applicable if the Sponsor does not have an active sponsorship file with GDRFA.

National ID Requirement: Applicants of Pakistan, Afghanistan, Iran, & Iraq nationalities must provide their National ID (e.g., CNIC, Tazkira, etc.).

Service Fees (Inclusive of VAT):

Application for Parent(s) Inside UAE: 1238.90 AED

Application for Parent(s) Outside UAE: 588.90 AED
